For Black Americans especially, the low rate of physical activity is further linked to chronic diseases such as coronary heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and cancer. Our focus is to instill a mindset of outdoor activities as a first option to counter the modern indoor video game and sedentary programming our modern society is pushing. Physical inactivity is not only bad physically but also has defined negative mental and emotional effects.
